Minh Quang Technology Development Co., Ltd (BEAM) is a company specializing in project business, providing software and hardware solutions, consulting and technology transfer, retailing electronic and household devices, various machinery, replacement software, and office equipment. With over 10 years of experience in the field of electronics and information technology, supported by a team of young, highly skilled, enthusiastic, and dynamic staff, the company has successfully implemented many large-scale projects in Hanoi and other provinces across the country.

Currently, Minh Quang has become a highly reputable company both domestically and internationally. It has established strong relationships with major global brands such as Acer, IBM, COMPAQ, and Hewlett Packard (HP). Additionally, the company has branch systems in various cities, including Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho, as well as branches in the USA, New Zealand, and Australia.

Minh Quang’s most important goal is to become a leading system integrator, providing comprehensive solutions and software packages. The company offers end-to-end services in building information systems, including backbone networks, message communication systems, database management systems, storage systems, technology transfer, and training programs. It also specializes in software for designing buildings and constructions, infrastructure planning, structural calculation, construction cost estimation, and design in the mechanical engineering field.

The company’s formation and development can be divided into four stages:

+ 1993-1995:

In its early years, Minh Quang quickly became one of the leading agents in the Vietnamese market for BEAM-Australia, the official global distributor of IBM Corporation. The company consistently won bids for small- and medium-scale projects, providing IT equipment (mainly IBM PCs) to numerous organizations and enterprises in Vietnam. Notably, its first clients included early adopters of information technology, such as Northern Provincial Post Offices, the Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi Electricity, and Regional Electricity Unit 1.

+ 1996-1997:

Building on its previous successes and with the support of IBM Vietnam, Minh Quang collaborated with major partners to supply many IT systems utilizing the most advanced technology of that time, such as IBM’s AS/400 and RS/4000 systems.

During this phase, foreseeing the growth of networking products and ASIAN PCs, Minh Quang began establishing relationships with several IT equipment businesses in Southeast Asia.

+ 1997-2000:

The company expanded its IT business operations, providing comprehensive solutions and IT services across the entire Northern market of Vietnam. Its customer base diversified significantly, including project clients, dealers, and end consumers.

+ 2000-2005:

In addition to maintaining strong partnerships with leading IT companies such as IBM, COMPAQ, HP, and DELL, Minh Quang became the exclusive distributor for several high-tech and IT product manufacturers from Taiwan and China, such as ZIDA TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED and CNET TECHNOLOGY INC. During this period, the company successfully deployed several large-scale computer networks of 200-300 nodes and some wide-area networks. The company has also collaborated and become a distributor for several leading computer and phone accessory brands from Hong Kong and China, including QCY, Devia, Jellico, Ovleng, Guangzhou Somic, DTNo.1 Smartwatch, and Luowice Security Camera.

+ 2005 to present:

To meet market demands, the company’s Board of Directors decided to rename the company as Minh Quang Technology Development Co., Ltd and increased its charter capital to 8 billion VND. Concurrently, the company underwent comprehensive changes in management, including the initial implementation of the ISO 9002 management system, personnel restructuring, and the development of after-sales services.

Along with these changes, the company has implemented several contracts in new fields, such as consulting and designing solutions for safety systems and automation systems for various types of businesses, as well as consulting and designing solutions for laboratories in vocational education schools, and more. The company has also collaborated and become a distributor for several leading computer and phone accessory brands from Hong Kong and China, including QCY, Devia, Jellico, Ovleng, Guangzhou Somic, DTNo.1 Smartwatch, and Luowice Security Camera.

Currently, the company has 40 members, with 97% holding formal university degrees in economics and engineering disciplines. This includes:
